Jefferson County Emergency Services District 3 is dedicated to providing the fire and emergency medical services that help protect lives, property, and the overall well-being of our community. NOTICE OF ADOPTED 2025 TAX RATE
JEFFERSON COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT NO. 3 ADOPTED A TAX RATE (0.074965/$100) THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 3.50 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERA TIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY -$0.35.
THE 2025 TAX RATE ($0.074965/$100) IS LOWER THAN THE 2024 TAX RATE ($0.075322/$100), BUT THE TAX RATE IS "EFFECTIVELY RAISED" AS IT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES THAN THE PRIOR YEAR'S RATE.
